MY HEART BEATS FOR YOU

It is a roller coaster,
A surging tide of emotions
I thought we could surf through
That was when our hearts were young and jolly
Oh I remember our jolly smiles

Chorus: baby baby, my arms were yours
Feel my heartbeat, my heart beats for you
Baby baby, you are my all, my heaven, my sweets

Then came the echo of your good bye,
It hurt like a lead bullet, hurt, hurt, hurt,
Your fading love is all I am left with
I grab but get get only thin air between my fingers
There is nothing to hold but for...

But for old memories,
But for nostalgia,
But for times that once were.

Remember the butterflies that flew over our heads
Remember the smile
Oh remember the laughter when I tickled you
As you walk away remember those moments.

Heart broken,
I look back and wonder,
I can't tell what went wrong,
All I know is that I am empty
An empty shell that is all I am

Sometimes memories flitter by,
Its a flap of wings,
Sometimes its a rustle of dry leaves
Some mornings it's the chirping of birds
Some evenings it's the crickets
You are always there, u are my very breath

(Sometimes I like playing with words.)

MY MORNINGS

Mornings are not mornings unless I wake up beside you,
Mornings are the moments I gaze at your face,
The Angel that lay beside me all night,
Mornings are made of you.

As I run the cold shower
The kitchen noises going on,
Humming off tune to
Kenny Rodgers'
'Morning desire'
I know mornings are made of you

A long day ahead,
I sure know it is
Then that warm embrace, kiss and goodbye
Does it all,
I walk out of the house. With a smile for:
Mornings are made of you my love

Let's Dance

Dance with me
Hold me in your arms
Hold my gaze
Whisper into my hear
Lean back and laugh
Laugh that throaty laugh

Tilt your waist and waltz away
Like a butterfly flap your wings and shine on
Let the world know you are in love
Oh waltz away darling

Let not your heels land
Soar, soar my love
Let your heart take over
Feel the blood coursing through your veins
Feel the wind on your hair
Smile at me darling

This love I feel

I can hear your soft breathing,
You look so peaceful in your sleep,
I would have woken you up but-
I know you are tired to the bone

I would have pulled back the duvet,
Would have woken you up with a kiss
Would have drawn the curtains
And smiled at you.

If you had not looked this peaceful in you sleep,
I would have woken you up,
With your head on my shoulder we would have gazed at the full moon.

Tonight
With every mutual breath,
We would have gazed at the stars,
We would have found our star,
But tonight,
For I love you, and you love me back in your sleep,
I shall rest on my elbow and gaze at you,
We already found our moon, you are that star,
The star I plucked from the sky
And your breathing- is the westerly breeze that whispers:
We are in love

sorry

How do I say sorry,
How do I make amends,
How do I make you see my heart,
Make you feel know how sorry I am.
How do I make you hold me once more,
How do I make you say,'I love you?'
Like you used to.

Do I pull out my heart,
Would the spilt blood do?
Would my heart in your palm do?
Would my blood be enough?
Enough to say, I AM sorry?

Look at me,
Gaze at my eyes,
Drift into my soul,
Feel my fears,
See my tears.

Look at my eyes,
See the look of remorse,
Look at my face,
Gaze at my sorry face,
Touch my lips,
Feel them tremble scared,
Touch my heaving chest,
The sobs of a broken soul.

Dear, Dear, that's me saying 'I am sorry.'

Close your eyes my love,
Hold me in your arms,
Rest your head on my chest,
Feel the racing heart,
Feel my heart pound, the pulse that says I am sorry.

I should never, never,
Never should I have hurt you.

Now honey,
That's me apologizing,
Honey that's my surrender,
I fall into your arms and sob.

Honey, that's me,
Wishing you would lift your head,
Wishing your lips would kiss mine,
Honey that's me wishing you would wipe your tears and sigh,
You would just say ' you are forgiven!'
My love, that's me tonight

The hurt

Is that hurt I see in your eyes?
Why the long face?
Is that fear you wear on your face?
Come, come and sit next to me,
Let's sit and take a breath.

Your hunched shoulders tell a story,
Your crossed arms scream silent fear,
Your bowed head,
Tells of past hurt.

Scoot over,
Don't utter a word,
I feel your past hurt,
It has been a rough road,
You gave your heart and it was trashed,
You loved and were betrayed.

Scoot over my friend,
This is our bench,
Forget the past,
Open a new page,
Dream afresh,
Dare to let go.

This might be it,
You and I,
Wondering souls, this might be our love's harbour,
We might just anchor on love's island.

On the sands ashore life's Oceans,
Write the story of your heart break this dawn,
The tides at dawn will wash all away,
Feel the sand of new lands betwixt your toes,
On the corals of time,
Let's write a new song,
A song of ecstasy and bliss,
The song of new found love

You and I, let's surf this wave,
Let's immerse our hearts in the waters of love's tide,
Let's sail away to lands unknown,
The lands our hearts' maps call ' NEW LOVELAND'
